Working with Charities

What do I offer?

I am one of the tutors who offers subsidised courses which are funded by the Everyone Project. The aim of the project is ‘to help disadvantaged and isolated groups, and those living with multiple stressors. We do this because we are passionate about the power of Mindfulness to empower all in our society to flourish and achieve their true potential’ (www.everyoneproject.org)

I build partnerships with third sector organisations, community groups and organisations who work with groups who are interested in learning how mindfulness can benefit them in their lives but are unable to access mindfulness courses due to financial barriers. I proactively contact organisations but I also welcome organisations to make contact with me to discuss partnership working.

Your role: You promote the course, provide the space and bring the group together.

My role: I share all course promotional material, content and support needed to get the course up and running and then facilitate the 8 week mindfulness program either in person in the space you provide or on line if this is your client groups preference.

Funding: The course is fully funded other than the requirement for a space to be provided and basic items like pens, paper, flipchart to support facilitation.  I also do ask that the organisation can provide resources for a tea break. The cup of tea and biscuit break are a crucial part of relationship building and some down time in the group process.

In addition to my work with the Everyone Project I also volunteer my skills in a range of settings delivering both mindfulness and reiki. Do get in touch if you would like to learn more about the Everyone Project or discuss partnership.
